Role OverviewAs a Closure Worker - RMC, you will perform duties related to the safe closure of open mines, conduct detailed field surveys, and assist with the safe closure of historic mine-openings. You will work in a collaborative environment with a focus on safety, and have the opportunity to grow in your career. You will be based in Sahuarita, AZ, and will enjoy a range of local attractions and a mild winter climate.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include using GPS instrumentation for field surveys, data collection, and verification; assisting with the safe closure of historic mine-openings; operating pickup trucks with trailers and other equipment; driving/hiking to remote locations over rough terrain; and performing minor maintenance and assisting with support activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid driver's license, be able to travel up to 90% of the time, and be able to hike 3-5 miles per day in rugged terrain.
