Cloud and Identity Security Engineer

Kimball Midwest is searching for a Cloud and Identity Security Engineer to design, implement, and improve identity and access management across enterprise systems. The role requires experience in cloud security, identity and access management, and Zero Trust capabilities.

What You Will Do

Designs, implements, and improves identity and access management, provides security engineering support for cloud environments, and helps define and mature Zero Trust capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant security engineering experience, a strong understanding of identity as a security control, and experience working with cloud environments and applying identity and security principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, a business-related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant security engineering, cloud security, identity and access management, or related experience
• Experience designing and improving identity and access management (IAM), authentication, and privileged access capabilities
• Experience working with cloud environments and applying identity and security principles within cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of identity as a security control and its role within cloud and enterprise security
• Experience contributing to Zero Trust security initiatives and architectures
• Ability to assess new applications, cloud services, and business requirements and determine appropriate identity and security designs
• Experience developing or supporting security automation and integrations
• Relevant security or cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC certifications are a plus
