Role OverviewMercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will guide research and engineering teams to improve AI model performance in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, and Infrastructure-as-Code topics.
What You Will Do
Design challenging tasks, write solutions to infrastructure problems, evaluate infrastructure engineering tasks, and develop guidelines and rubrics to assess cluster failure diagnosis and IaC design quality.

Requirements
- 4+ years of dedicated professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering
- Hands-on production experience operating Kubernetes
- Production experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform and/or AWS CDK
- Direct experience integrating AWS services in production
- Experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines
- Strong written communication skills
