Cloud Solutions Architect

Armison Tech is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to participate in software development efforts, including design, testing, and integration. The team will develop new applications to meet mission design and solve complex problems. The role involves managing virtual and physical servers on a virtualization platform (VMware) with Windows Server 2008 - 2016, Ubuntu, and CentOS.

You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including scope work and estimation, design documentation, testing, and integration. You will develop new applications to meet overall mission design and solve complex problems by executing broad design solutions.

Requirements

• Must maintain an active/current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Demonstrated experience independently designing and developing cloud based applications using current best practices and architectural guidelines.
• Experience with object oriented development in modern languages (Java, Go, C#).
• Experience developing front ends utilizing modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
• Overall experience previously developing in a Linux environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing in commercial cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as in containerized applications like Kubernetes.
• Experience working with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
• Experience with networking and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protocols like OpenVPN, Wireguard, and IPSec.
• Experience managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices.
