Role OverviewThis position is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider.
What You Will Do
Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds. Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.

Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program
- Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN
- Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI
- Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI
- CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
