Role OverviewThe CMM Programmer Operator will assist in ensuring production parts meet customer requirements using CMM equipment and software. This person will perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure all products meet customer specifications and requirements.
What You Will Do
Measure key part characteristics with CMM equipment, perform CMM programming, setup, and analysis of both in process and finished products, work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts, and document findings and develop planning for jobs.

Preferred qualifications include experience programming Zeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software and aerospace experience. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker and a self-starter with a solid problem-solving sense of urgency, good organization, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- ITAR requirements: U.S. person citizenship status
- 2 year technical degree and/or 2 years shop floor machining
- 2 years shop Floor machining and/or 6 months Quality Inspection in machine shop environment
- Able to operate a CMM, including choosing appropriate tools and inspecting parts with minimal supervision
- Preferred experience with PC DMIS CMM software
- Knowledge of GD&T and general blueprint interpretation
