Job Description
Provides personal care service to the terminally ill patient and performs related tasks in accordance with the Hospice Aide Plan of Care as assigned and delegated by the RN Case Manager.

Requirements

  • Missouri CNA certification required if working in Missouri; Kansas CNA and Home Health Aide certification required if working in Kansas.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Two years recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred with at least one in Hospice.
  • Recommended Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant Certification (CHPNA).
