Role OverviewPerforms patient care and activities in the Adult Day Health Center and/or In Home as directed. Reports to the Clinical Services Director/Adult Day Health Coordinator when in center. Reports to Senior TLC Home Care Agency Supervisor when providing in-home services.
What You Will Do
Assists with tasks on a plan of care for Participants in the center and/or in the home, provides personal care, serves meals, assists with activities, and performs incidental household services.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 1-2 years of experience working as a CNA, with at least 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly population, and be able to prepare simple meals, perform personal care, and housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience working as a CNA
- Currently listed as CNA (I or II) with NC Nurse Aide Registry
- Valid driving license with personal vehicle insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written form
- Ability to lift and turn participants
- Knowledge of and care of adults with chronic health conditions
