Role OverviewBenchmark at Newtown is hiring a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The role involves delivering care to residents in a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Shifts available are 1st Shift (7a-3p) and 2nd Shift (3p-11p), with a schedule of Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday.
What You Will Do
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Document care provided and report any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support. Utilize customer service skills to ensure exceptional and meaningful care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a valid CNA/HHA/LNA license. Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required, and previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
