Role OverviewAs a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant at PruittHealth Coastal Central, you will play an essential role in ensuring patients and residents receive safe, timely, and supportive transportation to appointments, therapies, and activities.
What You Will Do
Safely transport patients and residents to medical appointments, treatments, and approved outings. Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniques. Deliver hands-on CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed. Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a current CNA certification and a High School diploma or GED. No prior experience is required, making it suitable for entry-level candidates. Preferred qualifications include a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and familiarity with wheelchair lifts and mobility devices.
