Role Overview

The Engineering Technician will focus on developing machining processes for new products, process improvements, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiencies. The role is highly hands-on and shop-floor focused, requiring on-site presence, 5 days a week.

What You Will Do

Develop complete CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling and lathe applications, drive production process design, tooling strategy, and machining optimization, and support fixture design, GD&T interpretation, and troubleshooting of complex machining processes.

Requirements

  • High school degree along with CNC program creation and CNC equipment setup experience
  • Consistent track record in developing CNC programs for complex geometries
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience as Engineering Technician
  • Experience working in a regulated industry and/or Medical Device company
  • Direct experience with machined-part manufacturing
  • Experience working directly in a production/manufacturing shop-floor environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading cost-reduction, efficiency, or process-improvement projects with measurable/tangible results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with machinists and production personnel
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and develop practical solutions
