Job Description

CNC Field Service Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining CNC machine tool equipment, controls, and other components.

Requirements

Associates degree in a related field is preferred; High School Diploma/GED required
2+ years as a CNC Field Service Technician or Engineer highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
3+ years of experience working with CNC controls
Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics; familiarity with precision measuring equipment
Experience with precision rotating machinery, spindles, precision bearings highly beneficial
Problem solving skills and attention to detail with technical aptitude is required
Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics
Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other related business programs
Must be able to work unscheduled overtime without notice
Valid drivers license and auto/vehicle insurance required
Ability to travel regionally up to 100% of the workweek; some overnight travel required and some domestic travel required
