Job Description
A CNC Machinist 3 is responsible for understanding the set up and operation of CNC and manual Lathes or Milling machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and understanding basic tooling principles.

Requirements

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual Lathes or Milling machines according to HUNTING procedures and engineering blueprints.
  • Read and understand Hunting Quality Manual.
  • Understand the principles of a “Lean” shop and “Flow” manufacturing.
  • Responsible for dimensional and quality requirements of components.
  • Work in a team environment and lead Kaizen events to improve quality and throughput while reducing costs.
  • Participate in and support “Six-Sigma” projects as required.
