Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and 5yrs machine shop experience or 2yr degree in Machining from technical program (or in process)
  • Able to perform simple setup tasks (ie., jaw change, tool change)
  • Experience with common machinist inspection tools
  • Ability to measure English and metric numbers with shop-provided gauges and established procedures
  • Ability to review and work from production schematics and engineering drawings
  • Math skills, including understanding of fractions, decimals and the metric system
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
