CNC Machinist A - OD Grinder 2nd Shift

The CNC Machinist A - OD Grinder 2nd shift is responsible for setting up and operating various machine types, with a focus on the Studer CNC OD Grinder with Fanuc controls. This role requires minimal supervision to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.

Setup and operate assigned equipment, assist in training operators, participate in continuous improvement activities, and perform quality inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong utilization of basic mathematics and geometry
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints/drawings
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of a wide variety of inspection equipment and techniques
