Job Description
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a respected metal fabrication company in Three Rivers, MI. The CNC Machinist will work Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $18.00.

Requirements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and dimensional drawings
  • Operate a wide range of machines including mills, lathes, drills, automatics, and surface grinders
  • Use micrometers, calipers, hand tools, and precision instruments to inspect and verify product quality
  • Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, and set up/operate machine tools
  • Fit and assemble parts to build and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools
  • Prepare tooling for changeovers and conduct in-press inspections after production runs
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and templates to support part and product fabrication
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure machines are cleaned before and after each shift
