Role OverviewPerforms routine tasks as a Machinist 1, including operating saws, machinery, and computer systems, and adhering to safety practices and company policies.
What You Will Do
Operates saws, delivers material to operators, keeps the material area clean, conducts in-process inspection, and prepares/enters/completes work order reporting.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to pass the forklift certificate within 6 months of hire, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions, work orders, and engineered drawings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six plus months of Vo-Tech, manufacturing, or mechanical exposure experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions, work orders, and engineered drawings
- Exposure to using hand tools and measuring tools (calipers and gauges)
- Basic mathematical and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform Trainee duties
