Role OverviewAs a CNC Manufacturing Engineer at Western Enterprises, you will be responsible for implementing productivity improvements, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. You will work to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products. You will also be responsible for training and coaching employees, developing and evaluating manufacturing operations, and identifying deficiencies and implementing Lean Sigma principles.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field
- Experience with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Technical school background
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machining
- Ability to drive positive changes in all aspects of departments' operations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Specific safety training
- Proper understanding and application of ISO and medical procedures
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
- Working knowledge of machining, materials, quality programs, safety programs, and managing resources
- Understanding of production planning concepts
- Knowledge of writing and editing programs for all types of CNC machines
- Knowledge of using different computer programs to create reports using Excel, Word, Power points, etc.
- Knowledge of creating manufacturing prints
