Role OverviewWe are hiring a CNC Machine Operator to process structural steel using automated cutting and drilling equipment. The ideal candidate has CNC operating experience, can read fabrication drawings, and understands material handling, machine adjustments, and dimensional quality checks.
What You Will Do
Set up and operate CNC plasma cutters, beam drill lines, and angle lines. Read and follow structural steel blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders. Use overhead cranes and rigging equipment to load, position, and secure steel beams, plates, and other materials.
Why It Might Be a Fit
At least 2 years of CNC machine operation experience, preferably in structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings and blueprints. Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, squares, and tape measures.
