Job Description
The Cobb - Egg Driver position at Bear Hollow Farm is responsible for pick up, delivery, inspection, and sanitation of eggs. The job requires a comprehensive benefits package and starting wage of $17.00 per hour plus shift differential. The ideal candidate should have previous agricultural or production experience and reside in the United States.

Requirements

  • Stores eggs by performing duties such as picks up eggs from houses in laying, traps, and cages sections and delivers to hatchery
  • Operates egg sanitizer, grades eggs by observing shell color, quality, and texture, and places hatching eggs in buggies
  • Loads PS/SS eggs on truck and delivers to front egg room for pick up by off-site driver
  • Monitors hatchery environment for proper temperature and humidity levels
  • Maintains a sanitary environment by performing duties such as operating tray washer, disinfecting crates, and cleaning and sanitizing egg room and hatchery vehicles
