Role OverviewThis position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the farms underlying framework and features of its systems, houses, office, mechanical needs, and preventative measures.
What You Will Do
Responsible for preventive maintenance program for systems and houses in assigned areas. Adjusts or replaces parts on devices and control instruments, repairs or replaces defective parts; reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
Requirements
- Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
- Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
- Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
- Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
