Job Description
The Code & Zoning Specialist is responsible for interpretations regarding code and zoning issues. This includes consulting with principals, evaluating construction activities, reviewing determinations, and serving as an expert consultant in emergencies.

Requirements

  • Regularly consult with principals to anticipate and resolve potential zoning, code, or other regulatory issues.
  • Evaluate and track construction activities in New Building (NB) applications or major alteration (ALT. l) applications.
  • Review and address determinations submitted by applicants, builders, and the general public.
  • Serve as expert consultant in emergencies involving possible structural damage to buildings.
