Job Description
The Coding/CDI Denials Analyst reviews coding denials for accuracy and ensures all coding guidelines and conventions are followed. They compose and submit appeal letters, identify coding trends, and communicate opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of acute hospital-based Coding and/or CDI experience
  • Denials and Appeals experience in an acute Hospital setting
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, or CDIP certification
