Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Coding/Compliance Denials Analyst to develop outpatient coding education, research complex outpatient coding denials, and conduct risk-based coding compliance audits. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of coding experience and relevant certifications.

Requirements

  • 5 years of coding experience including hospital outpatient encounters
  • 5 years of experience in coding audit or quality review work including outpatient encounters
  • 1 year of experience preparing and delivering education as it relates to audit findings or regulatory guidance to coders and auditors
  • CPC, CPMA, CEMC, or CPC-I certification upon hire
