Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Coding Specialist III to review and code inpatient and outpatient medical records, utilizing current coding guidelines and regulations. The successful candidate will possess a high level of expertise in coding and be able to mentor and proctor employees at lower levels.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience
  • RHIA or RHIT certification
  • Experience working in a remote environment (preferred)
