Job Description
The Coding Specialist III is responsible for reviewing and coding inpatient and outpatient medical records at UT Southwestern Medical Center, following current coding guidelines and organizational requirements. The role involves mentorship, proctoring, and maintaining expert knowledge of coding related guidelines and practices.

Requirements

  • 3 years to 5 years acute hospital based coding experience
  • (RHIA) REGD HEALTH INFO ADMINIST Upon Hire or (RHIT) REGD HEALTH INFO TECHNOLO Upon Hire or (CCS) CERT CODING SPECIALIST Upon Hire
