Role Overview

The Collections Manager oversees day-to-day accounts receivable activities, leading a team responsible for insurance and non-insurance AR. This role focuses on driving timely collections, improving processes, and ensuring consistent and effective practices across the team.

What You Will Do

Manage daily AR operations, supervise a team of Collections Coordinators, monitor and drive collection efforts, track and report on key metrics, provide coaching and feedback, and partner with attorneys to follow up on outstanding balances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in collections or revenue cycle management
  • Prior team lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of AR processes and collections strategies
  • Experience with collections systems (Aderant or similar)
