Role Overview

The Collections Supervisor will work in a hybrid in-person/remote schedule, performing supervisory duties, fostering a team environment, and interacting with tens of thousands of Ohioans each year. The role involves supervising and training assigned staff, conducting staff meetings, and performing monthly phone monitoring and reviews. The successful candidate will also assist team members with difficult callers and/or accounts, monitor team workflow, and establish work procedures and employee performance goals.

The Collections Supervisor will perform a variety of duties, including supervising and training assigned staff, conducting staff meetings, performing monthly phone monitoring and reviews, and assisting team members with difficult callers and/or accounts. The role also involves monitoring team workflow, establishing work procedures and employee performance goals, and preparing records and reports.

The successful candidate will have a passion for public service, a completion of an Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related area, or equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or Team Lead experience, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and preferred qualifications in a call center environment, reporting, and collections or legal environment.
