College Access and Housing Navigator

The College Access and Housing Navigator supports youth and young adults by providing both housing navigation and college access services. This hybrid role dedicates approximately 50% of time to the Youth Housing Program and 50% to College Access Navigation. The Navigator provides individualized case management, connects students to campus and community resources, and guides students and families through FAFSA and Oklahoma’s Promise application processes.

What You Will Do

Housing Support and Case Management (Housing Navigation – 50%): Support student intake assessments for housing programs, collect necessary data, provide individualized case management services, connect students to appropriate campus and community resources, and support housing stabilization. Data and Reporting (Housing Navigation): Enter and maintain accurate, timely records in HMIS and Consortium systems, maintain detailed case notes, assessments, and reports, and use collected data to inform program decisions. College Access Navigation (50%): Guide students and families through FAFSA and Oklahoma’s Promise application processes, provide one-on-one and group assistance, and develop and deliver educational workshops on financial aid, college access, and application processes.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience

• Comfortable with public speaking and group facilitation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
