Job Description
The Columbus Zoo Warehouse Assistant Operations Manager position involves assisting with daily warehouse duties, overseeing the warehouse team, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership skills, and experience in food warehouse supervision.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills with an understanding of team building and development
  • Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized
  • Computer and/or inventory system knowledge
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbx – 50lbs or more)
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and subject to a DMV check
