Role OverviewThe Combo Driver will operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions, including operating manual transmission, chaining tires, and driving in various terrain and environmental conditions. The role requires adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and company policies.
What You Will Do
The Combo Driver will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer, transporting freight, and maintaining records in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role also involves conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance problems, and verifying unit numbers versus paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, and reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center. The role requires a stable employment history, ability to operate a forklift, and physical demands such as lifting, twisting, and turning.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
- 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements
- Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle)
- Ability to push or pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck with a minimum load of 70lbs.
- Physical ability to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
