Alera Group is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team servicing both Commercial and Personal Lines accounts. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver outstanding service and support for personal lines insurance clients, including home, auto, umbrella, and flood, ensuring accurate policy placement and high client satisfaction.
- Proactively assess client needs, provide clear coverage recommendations, and leverage opportunities for account rounding, cross-selling, and qualified referrals (with incentives).
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and advise on coverage options, exclusions, and policy changes.
- Service and sell commercial lines insurance policies, working with quotable prospects and driving agency growth through commissions and incentives.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure underwriting accuracy and provide timely responses to information requests.
- Maintain and update client records in Applied Epic, ensuring thorough documentation, accurate file management, and strict adherence to automation and E&O prevention procedures.
- Manage follow-ups and suspense systems to track outstanding tasks, ensuring timely and thorough completion of all client and carrier requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years’ Commercial Lines insurance experience; Personal Lines account management experience preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts Property & Casualty License preferred, with strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and services.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills for engaging both clients and team members.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, insurance rating tools, and agency management software; Applied Epic experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a client-focused approach to delivering tailored coverage solutions.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while thriving in a collaborative team setting.

This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.
