Role Overview

The Commercial Construction Project Superintendent is an onsite team leader working with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Director of Field Operations, and General Superintendent to ensure effective management and coordination of assigned jobsite resources toward the common goal of quality and timely delivery of services which exceed customer’s expectations.

What You Will Do

Planning for, scheduling, tracking, maintaining adequate supervision of, and motivating multiple subcontractors and suppliers for the project assigned. Ensuring that all construction activities meet master project schedule milestones by developing, preparing, and maintaining a two-week, short-interval construction activity schedule.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Minimum five years’ of project superintendent experience on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15 million, including restaurant, retail, bank, health care, multifamily, and remodel projects. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering or equivalent experience required.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years’ of project superintendent experience on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15 million
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project scheduling software
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial building construction activities
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, municipal and project-specific safety regulations
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and must be bondable
  • Must have proof of liability insurance for same
