Job Description
H2O+U is seeking talented and enthusiastic Commercial Divers and/or Scientific Divers to contribute to innovative projects focused on clean water, wildlife habitat management, and water resources. The role involves surveying water bodies, conducting scientific dives, and assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs, with a focus on sustainability.

Requirements

  • Conduct freshwater mussel surveys
  • Conduct bathymetric surveys
  • Conduct scientific dives and commercial dives (if qualified)
  • Act as a member of the Stantec commercial dive team (if qualified)
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs of diving equipment
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs of boats, trucks, and other field equipment
  • Prepare and enforce dive plans
  • Assist with sediment sampling
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel for prolonged periods
