Role OverviewOperate heavy-duty trucks to provide pickup service of containers filled with waste or recyclable materials. Navigate high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any unsafe situations or service-related issues.
What You Will Do
Transport materials to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities, perform backing maneuvers, and ensure containers are properly positioned and returned to customers' properties.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires highly skilled backing maneuvers, attention to safety, and ability to work independently. Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate with customers and follow safety training.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Valid DOT medical card
- No DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- No license suspensions within the last 2 years
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Ability to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training
