Role OverviewResponsible for safe, on-time transport of customer freight. Inspect truck before and after trips and submit DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) indicating truck condition. Perform various tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects, and climbing onto catwalks.
What You Will Do
Pick up and deliver equipment from the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach, customer locations, rail yards, and service center (CFS). Open and close container doors, sweep containers, and properly attach air/brake hoses. Maintain HOS (Hour of Service) log and provide records on equipment transported.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 2+ years' experience as a commercial driver, a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous materials, tankers, and triples endorsements, and a current Medical Examiner's Certificate. Must also have and maintain a valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
