Role OverviewA Field Engineer is the technical expert to the Tech Ops team through the lifecycle of a project. They are responsible to ensure a project is executed with excellence as well as meets all design requirements laid out in the scope of work.
What You Will Do
Be the technical expert in the quality control process of each project, interface & maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with Project management, Clients, Sales, CAD, and Tech Ops team members, and commissioning Commercial Audio Video, Lighting, shades, and security systems.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in AV systems design, formal education in Electronics or related field preferred, and highly skilled in oral and written communication – clear, direct, detailed.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in AV systems design
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
- Must be able to interpret and mark up construction and technical drawings
- Experience working with clients in a professional manner
- Must be able to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Highly skilled in oral and written communication – clear, direct, detailed
- Independent work ethic highly motivated to getting a job done right
- A thorough, demonstrable understanding of systems integration techniques
- MS Office – able to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access proficiently without training
- Must be proficient in configuring and programming AV , lighting and home networking systems
