- Experience with commercial clients in small business, middle market, large/national accounts, or specialty risks
- Understanding of submissions, quotes, binders, policy comparisons, coverage gaps, renewals, and broker-carrier-client communications
- Ability to distinguish a broker's advisory obligations from a carrier's underwriting and claims responsibilities
- Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Comfort in explaining insurance concepts and recommendations in clear, practical language
