Role OverviewRockland Trust is seeking a Commercial Lending Specialist to join the Commercial Business Underwriting & Decisioning (CBUD) team in the Brockton Liberty Street office. The Commercial Lending Specialist is responsible for assisting CBUD Approval Officers and Portfolio Managers with general administrative duties, credit-related activities, and special assignments.
What You Will Do
The Commercial Lending Specialist will gather credit information on current and potential borrowers, conduct account research, order loan documents, process loan payments or advances, and promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field OR 1-3 years of banking experience with knowledge of various commercial loan documents, and strong familiarity with financial statements highly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to create financial and statistical tools and reports using excel spreadsheets
- Must be a detailed-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills
