RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain an existing book of business, including handling renewals, audits, cancellations, and non-renewals in coordination with the Producer to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Provide technical support to the Producer by analyzing client needs, reviewing coverage forms, preparing quotations, and assisting in client and prospect meetings as needed.
Complete and submit insurance applications to appropriate carriers, follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies, and process related documents like binders, certificates, and endorsements.
Prepare insurance summaries, schedules, and proposals; invoice based on appropriate billing methods (direct or agency) and ensure accurate documentation is sent to clients.
Review and verify policy details and audits for accuracy, coordinate necessary corrections between clients and carriers, and address policy change requests promptly.
Respond to mail and phone inquiries, investigate cancellation reasons, attempt to retain accounts when possible, and process cancellations with financial consideration to the agency.
Identify client loss exposures and recommend suitable coverage options; experience in designing fund management liability insurance for private equity and hedge fund clients is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with strong understanding of property and casualty lines.
Possession of a valid Property & Casualty Agent's License, with in-depth knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally.
Proven ability to interpret and analyze both concrete data and abstract information for decision-making and client guidance.
Skilled in processing and understanding written materials and documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using computers and word processing software, with the ability to adapt to various digital tools and platforms.
Capable of managing complex tasks involving multiple variables while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $80K to 105K per year.
