RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to client telephone requests and correspondence within 24 hours; assist clients and prospects until a producer is available.
Process certificates, endorsements, ID cards, binders, and audit/explanation memos within required timeframes (typically 24 hours).
Prepare and submit applications for new and renewal business, rating submissions according to underwriting guidelines and deadlines.
Monitor monthly expiration lists with producers 120 days before renewal; assist with formal insurance proposals.
Complete and process endorsements, cancellations, and premium changes within 72 hours; handle claims if the claims department is unavailable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, automation system records, and follow up on suspense items within 72 hours.
Follow agency billing, collections, and accounts receivable (A/R) policies; alert producers to unpaid audits and take appropriate action.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably in Commercial Lines.
- Active Property & Casualty Producer License.
- Strong work ethic with high standards for quality and productivity.
- Proven ability to comprehend and apply technical insurance regulations and systems.
- Solution-oriented with exceptional client and team relationship management skills.
- Proficient in independent work and collaborative team environments.
- Experienced in project management; highly responsive to client needs and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
