Role OverviewWe're seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Analyst to join our Underwriting team. In this role, you'll evaluate commercial lines business, help assess risk, support agency partners, and contribute to profitable growth.

Review, evaluate, and underwrite commercial lines new business submissions, analyze risk characteristics, and communicate underwriting decisions to agency partners.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Commercial lines insurance or underwriting experience preferred
- Professional insurance designations such as AU, CPCU, or progress toward designation preferred
- Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy language, and coverage forms preferred
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and risk assessment skills
- Ability to make informed decisions while balancing growth and profitability objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-starter who can work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and underwriting systems
