Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Services is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and experience in electrical distribution and control systems, protection and control schemes, and equipment testing. They will be responsible for commissioning transmission and distribution substations and ensuring the safety and reliability of the T&D system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in commissioning transmission and distribution substations
  • In-depth understanding of three-phase power systems, protection and control schemes, and equipment testing
  • Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems
