Job Description
We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Wunderlich-Malec Services. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and be able to work independently, with a focus on commissioning transmission and distribution substations. The role involves reviewing specifications and engineering drawings, scheduling installations and commissioning, and providing safety analysis and proper equipment isolation procedure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or engineering technology) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in commissioning transmission and distribution substations
  • In-depth understanding of three-phase power systems, protection and control schemes, and equipment testing
  • Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating electrical distribution and control systems
