Job Description
The Commissioning Engineer will commission the machinery software on the T-AO Program, including debugging, updates and constructive change.
Requirements
Plan, carry out and document ship electrical/automation surveys
Plan and take part in installation and commissioning of electrical, automation, remote control and IT systems
Program PLCs to meet customer functional specifications
Develop testing procedures for automation systems
Perform factory acceptance testing
Interpret customer specifications and drawings
Troubleshoot electrical control systems and equipment
Debug and implement changes to PLC hardware/software
Support Business Development with technical input and review
Interface with customers, sales and field installation services personnel
Experience using AutoCAD or similar Electric CAD
Familiarity with Regulatory bodies such as ABS, USCG, DNV, NEC, etc.
