Commissions and Bonus Analyst

This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. Working under general supervision and instructions, supports the development, implementation, execution and payment of United States Division's (USD) Sales Compensation Plans and related Employee Agreements.

What You Will Do

Administer and calculate commission/bonus payments for the USD Sales Compensation and Bonus Plans and per the related Employee Agreements. Analyze, interpret and implement USD Sales Compensation Plans and related Employee Agreements. Perform periodic audits of commission / bonus payments, make recommendations for improvements, and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Relevant functional experience of 3 years in Financial/Sales Reporting and Database Management modeling.
• Must have demonstrated advanced Excel/Access skills, and the ability to interface data with new or existing software and/or applications.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
