Role OverviewThe Committee on Special Education Speech-Language Evaluator is responsible for performing observations and consultations, administering Speech-Language evaluations, and completing Frontline IEP input. The role requires strong interpersonal communication skills and knowledge of various Speech Language assessment tools.
What You Will Do
Performing observations and consultations, administering Speech-Language evaluations, completing Frontline IEP input, writing reports, and assisting the CSE in the development and implementation of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have New York State permanent teacher certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Teacher of the Speech and Language Disabled, a bilingual extension, and New York State Licensure and Registration as a speech-language pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence is preferred.
