Job Description
The Communications Director for the Minority Caucus oversees media assistance to the Minority Leader and members of the Minority Caucus, working closely with the Minority Caucus Chief of Staff. Responsibilities include developing communications strategy, serving as official spokesperson, and coordinating press events and social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One year of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of news media sources and procedures
  • Understanding of legislative process and terminology
  • Understanding of state government
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
