Job Description

As a Communications Supervisor, you will oversee the Communications Specialist/Mentorship team and work to transform lives, families, and communities through mentorship, tools, and unwavering support.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time-management, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with sound judgment in sensitive, high-accountability environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings, taking initiative when appropriate
  • Proven ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), internet-based systems, and electronic record-keeping platforms (e.g., CRM and/or Electronic Health Records)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with incarcerated individuals and/or within D.O.C. re-entry programs
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Communications Specialist (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or team-lead experience, including oversight of performance, workload, or training
