Role OverviewThe Community Coordinator will work within a Neighborhood Model to address the unique needs and challenges of their respective neighborhoods and housing developments. They will oversee engagement, activities, and support services in a geographic neighborhood with responsibility for 3-6 NYCHA developments.

Responsibilities include conducting outreach to residents, ensuring residents are aware of internal and external resources, serving as a liaison between residents and NYCHA departments, and developing and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities
- At least one year of experience as described above
